About Us

Artist Lauren Knight has been drawing since she was big enough to hold a crayon, and her life-long love of animals has always been an important part of her work.

She first began creating pet portraits as a member of the veterinary field, where she painted memorial portraits for clients who had lost a pet. Being able to bring joy and closure to a grieving pet parent was deeply rewarding and inspired Lauren to take up pet portraiture full-time. 

As a long-time fan of cartoons and comedy,  Lauren's signature style strives to both capture the likeness of each individual animal, and emphasize the features and quirks that make them special and loved, all while bringing a smile to the faces of pet parents.

Lauren lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Chris and their two pugs, Bilbo and Cicero.
